After a full day of golfing we decided to stay over. It was last minute. Super friendly and inviting. The room was very clean and the bed and bedding was so nice. It was absolutely perfect and exactly what we were looking for.
This place was super cute and the rooms looked like cabins. It's not too spacious, but the rooms were clean, service was nice, and it felt really homey. They were very affordable and for a small town motel, it was well kept and came with a microwave and a mini fridge. Will be staying here again.
Older, not as modern as some, but don't let that sway you. Rustic, beautiful little rooms comfy bed. Felt like home and the people are great! Sometimes it's all about the feel of a place and not every amenity on the face of this planet. Location easy to find and for you avid, quilters, there's a beautiful quilt fabric shop right next store. What more could you ask for? LOL

I travel quite a bit and have my own hotel rating based on beds, shower and hot water, cleanliness and friendly staff. Sleep Pines wins. The bird houses and quilts and landscaping make this far more than the usual small town motel. 7 miles to Lake Davis is an easy drive. Portola has a solid variety of stores and services.
We found this little gem on a trip to Sparks. It is cute, clean, comfortable, and quiet. The management is accommodating and friendly. I love the vintage feel of the place - real hotel keys with a key drop and a handy flyswatter hanging by the door. They own a shop, Blue Petunia, I want to check out next time. The bedding was quaint. Love this place!
Location was easy to get to, it was cute and quiet, the dogs were adorable. Owners seemed very nice, felt very welcoming. I wasn't expecting a flat screen TV in a small town motel and was pleasantly surprised to have dish network and a place to plug in my Chromecast. Only complaints would be the bed was pretty uncomfortable and hard, the toilet paper was see through thin and the room wasn't completely ready an hour and a half after checking in and room service came to finish but left the coffee grounds in the pot from the previous occupants and it wasn't clean in the morning to make coffee. Overall great experience and would recommend to anyone visiting the Paluma area.
My family and I had to get out of run down Quincy, that lie about motel availability. This place is so comfortable, relaxing, private. And it feels like ur home, that my family n I haven’t had for 3 months, n the staff is so kind sweet n nice. I’d stay here every single night if my family n I could, better than any thing my family n I have ever stayed at. I absolutely love this place. Thank you, for ur kindness n ur beautiful motel.
